Privacy Policy
1. About this policy
This page describes how the rhemawofi.org website handles the information it receives, and if anything here raises a question, write to admin@rhemawofi.org.
2. Information this site collects
The only information this site collects is what you choose to type into it: your name, email address or phone number if you give them on the prayer request page or another request form, and the words of a message or a prayer request itself. There is no account to create and no membership area for a visitor to sign into.
3. Prayer requests
A prayer request is treated as confidential by default. It is shared with the church only if you tick the box saying you are willing to have it shared, and otherwise it is read only by the person who prays over it. Your name, email address and phone number are optional, and each is left out entirely if you leave it blank. This site has no database connected to it today, so a request is not stored here; instead it is emailed to the prayer team so that a real person reads it, private requests included, with a note attached telling the reader not to share or read out a private one. If nothing captures your request, meaning it could not be delivered, you are shown an error and asked to call the church, rather than being told it worked when it did not. Nothing about a prayer request, not your name, not your phone number and not one word of what you wrote, is ever written to this site's own records; the only trace kept there is a random reference number, the topic you chose, and whether you marked the request private.
4. Contact and other request forms
If you write to us through a request form elsewhere on the site, what you type is used to answer you or to pass your message to the right person here. It may be saved to the church's own database if one is connected at the time, and it is normally emailed to a staff inbox. We do not sell it, rent it, or give it to an advertiser.
5. Giving through Cash App or Zelle
This site does not take card giving today, and it takes no card number, bank detail or other payment information at all. The giving page points you to Cash App and Zelle instead, both run by other companies, and whatever you type into either of those apps to send a gift is handled entirely by that app under its own privacy practices, not by this website.
6. Analytics and session recording
This site can run up to three add on tools to see how it is used, and each one only runs when the church has set an id for it in the site's own settings; leaving that id blank means the tool does not run at all. Google Tag Manager loads scripts that measure visits. Microsoft Clarity, if it is turned on, records how a visitor moves through the public pages, and it masks what you type by default, so a recording shows the shape of a form being filled in rather than the name, phone number or words you actually typed. A Meta pixel, if it is turned on, counts page views and, when a request form elsewhere on the site is completed successfully, that a request happened, but it is never told your name, email address or phone number, and it does not run at all on the giving page or the prayer request page. None of these three tools is gated behind a cookie consent banner today.
7. Cookies these tools set
Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta pixel each set their own cookies or similar identifiers in your browser when they run, which is how a company like Google or Meta recognises the same browser again on a later visit or on its own other sites. Beyond those three, a further cookie is set only when a staff member signs in to manage the site, described below.
8. No accounts for visitors
There is no way for a visitor to create an account on this site, sign in, or have anything remembered from one visit to the next. Nothing you read here is tied to you personally beyond what the tools named above may record.
9. Staff sign in
The people who manage this site's content sign in with Google, and only an email address the church has approved in advance can get in. That sign in sets a cookie proving who is signed in for up to twenty four hours; it exists for staff managing the site and has nothing to do with you as a visitor unless you are one of them.
10. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through the prayer request page or any other form here. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to admin@rhemawofi.org and we will remove it.
11. Asking us to remove your information
If you want us to delete a message, a prayer request or anything else you have sent through this site, write to admin@rhemawofi.org and tell us enough to find it, such as the reference number the prayer page gave you, and we will remove it from wherever we hold it, including a staff inbox where we can.
12. Where this site is hosted
This site is hosted on Cloudflare and served from the United States.
