There is a phone number that rings at seven in the morning, Monday to Friday. People from this church call in and pray together. You can join them from your kitchen, your car, your bed, or the parking lot before your shift starts.
The number is 1 (848) 280-6868. That is the only address you need to remember.
What actually happens on the call
The line opens at 7:00 AM Eastern. A short welcome, then somebody reads a passage of scripture, and the group prays around it. People take turns leading the prayer out loud. Most calls run somewhere between twenty and forty-five minutes, depending on who shows up and what the prayer list looks like that day.
You can speak. You can also call in, put the phone down beside you, and listen. Plenty of people do that, and that is a completely normal way to be part of it. You will not be put on the spot and nobody will call on you.
What you need to know to call
You dial 1 (848) 280-6868 from any phone. It is not a toll free number. The 848 area code is New Jersey, so the call is a standard long distance call on your own plan, the same as dialling any other out of state number. If you want to check how your plan handles it, ask your carrier.
The line does not require an access code or PIN. If you join and a recording asks you to enter one, hang up and try again, because something has gone wrong on our end.
Who calls
People from this church, mostly. People who wake up early and want to start the day in prayer. People who work night shifts and call in on the way home. People who are dealing with something and want to know that somebody, somewhere, is praying for them out loud.
You do not have to be a member. You do not have to say you are praying. You do not have to introduce yourself at all.
What if I cannot make seven in the morning?
Sunday has Morning Glory instead, an hour of worship and prayer on Facebook from eight to nine in the morning with Evangelist Jackie. An hour later than the weekday call, and you watch rather than dial in.

What if I want somebody to pray for me by name
You can also send a prayer request any time, day or night. You do not have to give your name. If you do, it stays with the prayer team. If you want someone to call you back, leave a number and tick the box. If you do not, nobody will contact you.
The prayer team is the same group of people you would be sitting next to on the seven o'clock call.
